On a recent trip to Minneapolis to visit a friend, I had the opportunity to check out the Colossal Cafe. It’s a place I’ve been wanted to try out ever since I saw Guy Fieri go on his Food Network show, Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. We split a short stack on the Apple Walnut Brie Flappers and were very pleased. Hurray for cooking from scratch! “Ho”-Made Pies
We were on our way back from a month long cross country trip in July 1993- New York to California and back. I believe this is a cafe in Illinois. This is one of those signs that you just can’t help but stop and ponder: What are they referring to? Is the ho the chef or part of the ingredients? Do I need a dose of penicillin after partaking in what this ho has to offer? If you’ve eaten here, I’d appreciate a comment. Thanks.
